Housing for a Sustainable Community — Experiences and Guidelines
The Architecture and Construction Fair ArhiBau 2025, accompanied by a professional conference, is one of the largest events of its kind in the region. At the fair, leading manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, materials, and solutions in architecture and construction will present the latest technologies and materials for modern, sustainable construction, renovation and maintenance of buildings, and the design of the spaces that surround us.
This year’s ArhiBau 2025 will take place in the very center of Zagreb, at Kačićeva 26, at the heart of the profession – within the premises of the Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Faculty of Geodesy, at the University of Zagreb. The program will extend beyond the faculty buildings, into the high school sports field and public street space, further opening a dialogue with the community and the city.
ArhiBau 2025 will be held at the same time as Zagreb Design Week, with a range of events across multiple city locations. As a result, this year’s audience extends beyond professionals to include citizens and visitors of Zagreb alike.
The fair will take place at two connected locations: the Knowledge HUB (the AGG Faculty atrium) and the Creative HUB (the sports hall of the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, across Kačićeva Street).
The conference will focus on the theme: “Housing for a Sustainable Community — Experiences and Guidelines” and will be accompanied by architecture exhibitions and the Creative Hub — a platform for high school students, university students, and creatives who reflect on and shape space every day.
